I've had the same problem with people wanting to keep me up all night for their hobby. Anymore now that they have to work for me, it's cut down the looky-lues. Ghosts don't wear watches. I can't imagine them looking at their watch and go "Oh it's night time, lets go to work and do some haunting".
The clock thing would weird me out :)
I don't mind the "Haunted" it's just the very sad, strange and sometimes mental cases that want to burn my house down or see satan looking out of my upstairs windows that I need more distance from.
Then add to this the "Ghost Detectives" who want to hang around here at all hours of the night (as if I owe them this opportunity?) keeping us awake , never giving a dam whether or not we just sacrificed our "good" next day for their hobby.
A few nights ago as Jessica was coming to bed she heard a clock chime three times, she got into bed, looked at her watch, it was 3 am, no big deal except there is no such chiming clock in this house! We have no close neighbors just woods, creek, cliff, graveyard on the next hill and the backs of the store buildings 150 to 250 feet away across the parking lots.
I have been welding together a new front stoop for the house , my two or three previous ones all rotted up, even though they were pressure-treated wood and painted, Jessica asked me why I am taking SO much time to make the thing, well, it's just the way I am, mostly, probably....haHAHAHA!
and it's a good thing to do with some of the 2 tons of steel bars I was given a couple of years ago.
